Moorland Windows has dispensed with three traditional joinery machines after installing its first CNC processing centre.
The Lytham St Annes-based business invested in a Masterwood Project 415 to make bespoke joinery products, including door sets, windows and conservatories, for builders and private customers.
The Project 415 can be fitted with either a pod tubeless system or a 3600x1250mm matrix bed for nesting.
The X axis useable routing stroke is 3450mm, while the Y axis has a stroke of 1350mm. Maximum material thickness in the Z axis is 220mm.
Masterwood CNC machining centres are available from £40,000-120,000.
