Hammer of Austria used Ligna to launch new models in its range of solid wood and panel processing machines and a new look.

The Felder Group member has undergone a corporate ID revamp and its machines are now in a bold red, yellow and black livery.

“The idea was to create a more eye-catching look, but also to tie in Hammer with the livery of the Felder group,” said export manager Simon Hornby. “We’re emphasising that we’ve got a family of technology; Hammer for the smaller workshop and hobbyist, Felder for the workshop to the small industrial operation, and the Format 4 series for the larger industrial user.”

Technical developments have been introduced across the Hammer range, which includes sliding table saws, planer thicknessers, sanders and spindle moulders. Notable among the innovations are bigger fences, which are easier to adjust, more robust and designed to give the machines more international appeal.

The latest Hammer of all was the K3 Perform which has a motor for each blade for consistent performance.
