Leeways Joinery in Gloucestershire has replaced its two Wadkin man-ual saws with a GreCon Dimter OptiCut S 75.
Director of Leeways Guy Fishburne explained: ‘The company is in the middle of a modernisation programme. We are looking to improve efficiency and reduce the labour content of our manufacturing processes.’
He said the OptiCut cross-cut saw was twice as productive, safer, easier to use and cut out paperwork as cutting lists were computerised. It cost Leeways in the region of £25,000.
