Overhead conveyor specialist Stewart Gill Conveyors is offering joinery companies systems for assembling and finishing timber doors and windows.
The Hampshire firm has previously specialised in conveyors for the automotive, food processing and paint finishing industries.
But a management buyout earlier this year and a new partnership with Dutch firm Railtechniek, which has extensive experience in supplying systems for joiners in Europe, has resulted in a new range of manual or automated overhead conveyors for loads up to 1,800kg.
The company says an overhead conveyor allows timber frames and doors to be transported easily and quickly from assembly through to finishing, while reducing potential risk and subsequent cost of damage during production.
