New machinery worth £750,000 is being installed at Palgrave Brown’s roof truss and MDF mouldings plants.
High-spec Mitek multiblade crosscut saws costing £250,000 have been bought for the company’s growing roof truss operation, which now has an annual turnover of £25m, compared to just £11m three years ago.
One saw has already been installed at the Nuneaton plant, while other saws are being installed at Darlington and Avonmouth.
Palgrave is increasing capacity in its MDF mouldings operation at the Brinscall site with the purchase of a Homag 6m beam saw and a Weinig high speed moulder, costing a total of £500,000.
