John Copping has been appointed port director, South Wales, by Associated British Ports (ABP).
Mr Copping, formerly port director, short-sea ports, had a previous spell as port director for the South Wales ports when he was instrumental in consolidating Barry, Cardiff, Newport, Swansea and Port Talbot into a single business unit.
John Fitzgerald, deputy port manager at Grimsby & Immingham, will be promoted as Mr Copping’s replacement.
