Timber importer Premier Forest Products has appointed Paul Ford as its softwoods director.
Mr Ford has nearly 40 years’ experience in the timber industry. He began his career with May & Hassell as a trainee timber importer and has climbed the ranks of the trade to hold directorial positions with several industry heavyweights. In 1988, he joined Malvern Timber Merchants and Builders, and left as managing director to establish Premier Timber & Builders Merchants.
Chairman and director Nigel Williams said: “Premier Forest Products is rapidly expanding, and we have great ambitions for the business in the next 5-10 years. Appointing a softwoods director of Paul Ford’s calibre will ensure that our vision for the future becomes a business reality.”
