Dynea’s profit was up from €65.6m in 2004, while sales grew to €1.18bn, mainly due to high raw material prices.
The company said the earnings improvements was in all regions within Dynea’s core business.
Dynea will soon start building a new resins plant in Western Canada to serve the growing OSB market in the country.
Roger Carlstedt, Dynea’s president and chief executive officer, said: “The good trend in Dynea continues. We were able to improve our operational result and cash flow significantly from 2004.”
