Consultec UK and Gang-Nail Systems chose to exhibit in the Off-Site Solutions Zone next to the Timber Zone this year.
Consultec UK managing director Jason Ruddle described the Timber Zone as “focused” and reported Sunday as being busy with self-builders and a few staircase manufacturers, while Monday yielded some quality contacts.
The company plans to launch a new version of its timber frame software next spring. Clients have asked Consultec to speed up the program to help remove bottlenecks in their design and production process.
Mr Ruddle said the updated version will have a new name and will be 30-40% faster to use.
