Rowlinson Timber has opened a timber treatment facility at the Port of Grimsby.
The plant uses ACQ preservatives to treat timber in three 15m long chambers.
The ABP-Rowlinson Timber Terminal is on the east side of the port’s Royal Dock and it will handle timber for a wide range of end uses including fencing and construction timber.
The new facility uses chrome and arsenic free alkaline copper quaternary treatments.
