Schelling has won a €13m order from Italian furniture components company Composad – the largest in its history.
The first stage of the order involves a Schelling four-saw system AS580/230 with fully automatic infeed, cutting, sorting and stacking plant as well as cut-to-size of protection boards with a maximum capacity of 900m³ a day. A second stage involves Schelling extending the line within two years.
Schelling claims that the order is the largest ever received for a cut-to-size saw.
