Schenkmann, part of the Dieffenbacher Group, will supply the technology for a new MDF plant being built by Interbon.
The Unopan MDF project, due to start up in November 2007, will have a fibre capacity of 30,000kg/h.
The dryer system is designed as a flash tube dryer, with the duct having a diameter of 2400mm and a length of 120m.
Dried and glued fibres are fed to two Schenkmann air graders with a heating device to remove glue knots, shives and other undesired particles.
Equipment will be delivered in the first quarter of 2007.
