Southern Woodwork Machinery’s new premises in Eastleigh, Hampshire, enables the company to display a greater range of machinery to customers.

The site features 2,000ft2 of showroom space – twice that of Southern Woodwork’s former site at Littlehampton. Warehousing has been outsourced so the company can concentrate on displaying machines.

David Snape, managing director, said: “We have previously been restricted to some extent as to how many machines we can get on display. People want to touch and feel machines rather than see pictures of them.”

Mr Snape said the company would probably now expand its range of machines.

Southern Woodwork’s machinery ranges from power tools to CNC window systems, with brands including KDR, SAC, Maggi and Meber. It also offers tooling, installation, repair and blade sharpening services.
