Talbotts Biomass Energy Systems had several of its core wood-burning boilers and combustion units on display and said the level of enquiries at the show had been good, with the expectation that several would develop into firm orders.
“Many of the visitors to the stand have been from our existing customer base who are looking to upgrade – from hand-fed to automatic, for example,” said Amy Fielding, Talbotts commercial director.
The company was also exhibiting a shredder from Untha, whom it partners in the UK. Shredders complement Talbotts’ product range, said Ms Fielding, and mean it can provide full turnkey projects.
Sister company Talbotts Biomass Generators launched its BG25 combined heat and power unit at the show. The biomass fired CHP generator uses automative technology and produces 25kW of electricity and 80kW of heat.
