Meridian Forest Products Inc, the US-based subsidiary of UCM Timber plc has appointed Damian Thomas as sales manager for the UK and certain European markets.
Mr Thomas joins the company from a sales role at James Latham plc and will be based at UCM’s Croydon office. He will be responsible for the development of sales in the UK for all hardwoods, southern yellow pine and west coast clears sourced by Meridian Forest Products’ in Portland, Oregon and Atlanta, Georgia.
In the US, Len Barker has been appointed to the Meridian Forest Products board as director.
