The Woodworking Machinery Suppliers Association is playing host to five UK machinery businesses at the Ligna exhibition in Hannover in May.
The companies will be based on the WMSA stand in Hall 12 where they will have facilities to conduct meetings with potential customers and display products and services.
Speaking at Ligna’s London press briefing, WMSA technical director Tony Kaye also said this is the first year that UK businesses exhibiting at the show have been entitled to funding under the Support for Exhibitions and Seminars Abroad initiative. The WMSA is official sponsor for administering this scheme for the sector, although it is also available to non-members.
According to the Ligna organisers a total of 19 UK companies will exhibit at the show, the same number as 2001.
