Created by geometric timber design specialist Gordon Cowley, the dome is to play host to AHEC’s exhibition space at the 100% Detail show, which is due to take place September 20-23 at Earl’s Court in London.
“Red oak represents about 35% of the total American hardwood forest and because the trees grow large and tall it offers better specifications than most other types of oak,” said David Venables, European director of AHEC.
“The slimmer members, joinery performance and beautiful finish offer affordable aesthetic design options not previously available.”
