A temporary Antwerp restaurant has been constructed and finished in OSB as part of a new approach to sustainability and urban development.

Norbord supplied the OSB for the shell and bar of Mist, a restaurant designed by architects Koen Pauwels and Christian De Haas. Cost, speed of construction and creativity were reasons for OSB’s specification for Mist, a project by restaurateur Vinko Pepa.

Norbord said temporary OSB structures can be easily put together in vacant urban areas, rather than leaving spaces empty between tenancies

Mist is expected to have a five-month lifespan.
