American hardwood lumber company Baillie Lumber has begun importing a range of exotic species from around the world.
Baillie, which traditionally produces and distributes American hardwoods to over 60 countries, will import African mahogany, Brazilian cherry, ipe, sapele, utile/sipo, teak, Caribbean rosewood, Spanish cedar, tigerwood, zebrawood and wenge.
These will be available in a range of thicknesses, from 4x4in to 16x4in, and Baillie said that “many more species will follow in the near future”.
