BHK (UK) is expanding its flooring range to include solid wood and engineered wood products.
The company manufactures laminate flooring and laminate wall and ceiling panelling for the DIY and contract flooring markets at Peterlee, Co Durham.
The new products include hardwood prefinished flooring and engineered prefinished flooring, such as flooring with a 6mm veneer.
General manager Phil Griffiths said: “As our market share for laminate flooring has increased, we are also aware of increasing consumer sophistication and want to address that. Our solid wood range will offer complementary products to our customers.”
BHK, which employs 210 people and has a turnover of £20m, has won two awards for its products and recently expanded the retail operation to 13 shops with new units in Bristol, Hull and Glasgow.
