Stora Enso, Mëtsa Wood, Kronospan and SCA will be at the June 4-6 show, along with French sawmillers Ducerf and Eurochene.
“The show is filling up rapidly and will take place over 17,000m2 in four halls,” said a Carrefour du Bois spokesperson.
Last year’s event attracted more than 500 exhibitors and around 10,000 trade visitors from 70 countries. It features stands of a limited size (under 36m2) and no separate sectors so exhibitors can choose where they go.
Carrefour International du Bois is organised by Atlanbois – the wood promotional organisation for the Pays de la Loire region.
The government-supported group has recently moved to a new headquarters in Nantes, the timber-built Bâtiment B on the Ile de Nantes. The building is designed to show the possibilities timber has to offer as a construction material.
