Phil Sparks, Bradford’s manager, Nathan Cassidy and Darren Jones, both commercial managers, Jo Love, site manager and Paul Carlisle, key account manager, were able to receive the diploma by using grandfather rights to upgrade their certification from the BMF‘s Managing for Success programme by undertaking NVQ level 3 and 4 assessment.

Bradford’s has stated that receiving the diploma will help its employees to improve professionally and personally, with the BMF adding that it was proud to offer a service that helps workers reach the highest echelons of management within the industry.

“We believe the BMF Diploma in Merchanting will become the essential qualification for anyone who wants to develop their career as a leading merchant,” said Chris Simpson, a manager at BMF Training.
