The company maintains that the technically advanced, laminated veneer lumber (LVL) scaffold boards, claimed to be the lightest laminated wood scaffold boards on the market, are set to revolutionise safety standards in the UK construction industry.
“We have worked closely with Finnforest developing the Master Plank in the UK market,” said Christian Brash, managing director of John Brash & Company Ltd.
“Performance has been optimised to offer a board that exceeds the BS2482 standard for solid timber, and is in addition more dimensionally stable. It is a major advance on standard boards and when the lifecycle is analysed, a more economical proposition.”
