Pinewood, whose customers include George Wimpey, St James, John Laing Partnership and Persimmon, already has chain of custody certification and a spokeperson said the two accreditations significantly increased the company’s score in the Code for Sustainable Homes.
Managing director Geoff Arnold said: “This is a major step forward for our company. Specifying Pinewood Structures‘ Green Guide products will also allow many clients access to funding and enable them to demonstrate compliance to the criteria for Sustainable Homes.”
Pinewood Structures, which was acquired in an MBO in January, is based in Bedfordshire and employs 155 people.
