Norman McKenna has been appointed as operations director for Brooks Bros (UK) Ltd. He has worked at Brooks for five years as a senior manager and director of the wholly-owned subsidiary Fitchett and Woollacott Ltd.
Following Mr McKenna’s appointment, board responsibilities have been defined with Mark Fleming taking responsibility for group sales and marketing, and Geoff Stentiford taking responsibility for group procurement. Mark Sherriff remains as group managing director.
Elsewhere within the company Geoffrey Mowatt has been appointed product manager to run the company’s laminated timber division. He has worked with Brooks for seven years as senior sales representative and will now operate nationally to promote the sales of laminated timber products.
Angus Beston joins the company in the new position of business development manager for the north of England and Scotland. He was previously sales director for Robert Duncan Timber Ltd. Mr Beston’s key responsibility will be to spearhead the company’s plans to enter the market in the north-east of England and Scotland.
Wayne Bowe also joins Brooks as sales representative for Yorkshire and Teeside. He has many years’ experience in the hardwood and softwood timber trade.
Russell Spencer has been appointed as sales representative for the Midlands, and Andrew Fox has been appointed as internal sales executive to support the new sales representatives from the Brooks Northern office.
