Franz-Josef Buetfering has been elected as the new president of the European Federation of Woodworking Machinery Manufacturers (Eumabois).
Mr Buetfering, who will be president for the next three years, is to be joined by ACIMALL’s Ambrogio Delachi, the new vice president, and Jean Paul Balz, from Swiss organisation HBT, who was re-elected as treasurer.
Other members of the Eumabois board to carry over their positions include SMT’s Niels Erik Lundvig and Afemma president Marcial Paris, with Zdenek Bezdek, from the Czech woodworking machinery association SVDSZ, appointed as a new member of the board.
Mr Buetfering, from German association VDMA, was elected to the post at Eumabois’s general meeting in Poznan, Poland on September 14.
