The move may also pave the way for further selective acquisitions and the opening of new branches.
“The new visual identity will be important for us, but we’re also clarifying our product range and pricing, as well as developing a strong promotional plan,” said Build Center brand manager Gordon MacDonald.
He said the key was to remind customers that Build Center was a volume supplier, and could offer “extremely competitive pricing for bulk purchases”.
The company has also strengthened its management team, recuiting product experts in timber and engineered wood products.
The first of the overhauled branches in Rugby was officially opened recently by Wolseley UK managing director Nigel Sibley and Mr MacDonald.
