The British Woodworking Federation‘s CERTIFIRE Fire and Fire Doorset Scheme is to sponsor a series of Quarterly Trends Reports on Fire Doors in TTJ to help manufacturers keep track of changes to Building Regulations.
Starting in November, the reports are to be produced by management consultants Michael Rigby Associates.
Manufacturers’ views and expectations of the fire door market will be monitored and each quarter’s survey will cover trends in manufacturers’ sales of fire doors and forecasts of sales activity. Prospects for the market, pricing trends and stock movements will also be included.
BWF director Richard Lambert said: “This is the first time anyone has tracked this important market on a regular basis.”
