A new visitor centre for Caerphilly Castle, Wales, is to be constructed with an oak timber frame to reflect the historic nature of the site.
But the majority of wood had to come from northern France as contractors were unable to source the long lengths required in the UK nor guarantee they would be from a sustainable resource.
