Three Canadian mills are now approved to produce CE-marked plywood.
Richmond Plywood Corporation, Tolko Industries Ltd (Kelowna, Armstrong and Heffley Creek divisions) and Federated Co-operatives Ltd (Canoe Plywood division) are producing CE-marked plywood.
The mills, members of the Canadian Plywood Association (CPA), say they are ready to supply the UK market in accordance with government procurement policy and the EU Construction Products Directive.
Five CPA members are certified to the Canadian Standards Association‘s certification scheme, while six meet the Sustainable Forestry Initiative‘s standards.
