New Zealand forestry company Carter Holt Harvey is to draw up a shortlist of bidders for some of its forests and land.
According to estimates, the forests may be worth NZ$500m, including NZ$70m of freehold land.
Carter Holt Harvey wants to sell one third of its trees to focus on its board, paper and packaging business. It expects to make a further announcement on the sale in July.
