Irish timber frame home manufacturer Century Homes is embarking on a €15m expansion programme which will create 250 jobs over the next three years.
The Monaghan-based company is to build a new €5m factory at Tullamore, County Offaly, with help from an Enterprise Ireland grant. The facility will create 120 jobs and is aimed at capitalising on growing UK business and export markets further afield.
Century’s three existing plants at Monaghan, Longford and Dungarvan are also to be expanded, with 130 jobs being created. The latter will receive new production technology costing £1m.
The company is aiming to double its current €50m turnover within three years.
