The third Certification Watch Conference in Vancouver has been hailed an outstanding success, attracting more than 360 delegates from 10 countries.
Speakers included chief executive officers of leading corporations, including Weyerhaeuser, Interfor and Lowe’s, as well as representatives from certification programmes and environmental groups such as Greenpeace and WWF.
On September 25, Certification Watch will host a one-day event entitled Certification and World Forestry in Québec City during the World Forestry Congress.
