Chandos Timber Engineering is on the way to reaching sales of £15m in 2007, its six-month results reveal.

The company has seen continual growth since its launch in 2001, with sales topping £10m in 2006 and £7m in 2005, and after recording half-year figures of £7.5m it appears to be on track to continue this growth.

Chandos recently completed the construction of its fourth purpose-built factory in Rochdale, which managing director Paul Abbott said had helped to increase its production capacity and maintain supplies to meet demand.

“By anticipating growth in orders and investing in advance, we are always able to satisfy our clients without skimping on quality,” Mr Abbott. “We have no intention of stopping at £15m, as we have the right formula to keep building on our success.”

Sales and marketing director John Sutton added that the growth had been supplemented by the company’s ability to retain its existing customers, as well as attracting new business.
