A strategic review of China’s growing importance in the world’s wood products market will be completed later this year.
International Wood Markets Group is to publish The China Book: Wood Products Industry and Market Review, focusing on Chinese domestic consumption, new distribution structures and rapidly changing government regulations which are aiding foreign firms doing business with the country.
The China Book, to be completed by September 30, is published in three parts – supply/distribution, industry/competitiveness and market/exports.
International Wood Markets said: “China’s production engine is ramping up and its exports are soaring into higher-priced export markets such as the US and Europe, creating opportunities for importers and serious concerns for domestic producers.”
