An opportunity to find out more about the Chinese timber industry is being made available through International Wood Markets Group’s China International Wood Products Summit.

The summit will take place on September 22-24 and includes a tour of mills, a conference with presentations by Chinese business leaders and networking sessions with manufacturers.

The conference will cover key issues facing global traders, including Russian log export taxes, changing Chinese government policy, key import and export trends, new opportuities for wood product exports and raw material imports.

A six-day industry tour throughout China is also being organised from September 24.
