The original company, based in Redruth, was bought by Performance Timber Products Group in 2007 and later merged with Mumford & Wood and production moved to Essex. Husband and wife Sean and Elaine Parker, who traded as Tor Windows selling Clearwood products, bought the name a year.
"Our aim is to publicly re-establish the Clearwood brand particularly in Cornwall. It was a strong in the south-west and now it is back," Mrs Parker said.
The Saltash-based company, which employs four, has a turnover of £1m. Its new showroom, focused on external domestic windows and doors is open to the public, but will have trade days.
The products are manufactured in Latvia and also Poland.
