Confor has added to the continuing debate over the future ownership of England’s forests by publishing a series of online papers on forestry in England.
The three papers focus on “Managing our forests responsibly”, “the public forest estate” and “forests and financial sustainability”.
The public forest estate paper considers what the future role of the estate could be and offers ideas for discussion on how that could be structured. Confor hopes it will stimulate debate.
