The Denholme-based company supplied iLevel Trus Joist products for a six-storey timber-framed apartment block next to Wigan Pier, the Landmark made famous by a Geor ge Orwell novel. The order was fulfilled over a six month period.
“We work with many housebuilders and construction firms across the UK but this was certainly one of the most evocative locations sited next to the Leeds-Liverpool canal and famous Wigan Pier,” said Paul Amphlett, CR Taylor executive director.
Mr Amphlett said 2006 had been one of the best trading years to date and predicted record turnover.
