A credit checking service has been launched by the British Woodworking Federation to enable BWF members to download credit reports on new and existing customers.
The service is free and run through the Federation’s website. For a premium, BWF members can set up email alerts to warn of changes in their customers’ circumstances.
BWF chief executive Richard Lambert said: “We have been inundated with calls from members concerned about the risks associated with day-to-day trading. We hope that this new service will help to alleviate these concerns and enable members to keep trading effectively through the recession and beyond.”
