The assets of Covers Timber Structures (CTS) are to be sold in an online auction after administrator Grant Thornton failed to sell the business as a going concern.
CTS went into administration on July 10, after several years of loss making according to parent company JH & FW Green Ltd, and has now been liquidated.
CTS was part of the Covers group, which remains unaffected by its liquidation.
Trevor O’Sullivan, the administrator assigned to handle CTS, said 60 employees have been made redundant as a result, with selling agent Edward Symmons arranging an online auction that is scheduled to take place some time in the next six weeks.
