Domuslegno, the trade platform for Italy’s woodworking industry, will be staged for the first time in Rimini on November 23-28 under new management.
Survey Marketing + Consulting GmbH & Co KG, Bielefeld is taking a majority stake in the show organisers, Ribera Legno Fiere srl, Arese (Italy).
Peter H Meyer, chief executive officer of Survey, said: “Domuslegno is an excellent addition to the Survey portfolio.”
He said the show has enormous potential for growth in the new location with Rimini being a major woodworking centre.
He said the fact that wood is becoming increasingly popular in Italy as a healthy, ecological material was a crucial factor in the decision to add woodworking and interior decoration to its existing furntiure supplies portfolio.
Product groups to be on display include solid wood, structural elements such as panels and wall systems, wood facades, wooden cladding, windows and street furniture.
More than 160 exhibitors are expected at the show which will run alongside SIA Guest which focuses on furnishings for the hotel, restaurant, wellness and interior decoration industries.
