The award recognised 18 top rated drivers from the nationwide building materials supplier who delivered exemplary standards across the year. Although the shortlist was generated via transport statistics and information from its Masternaut system, it was a colleague vote which led to Mr Pullin winning £2,000 in holiday vouchers.
"It was a great privilege to come home with the top title and for all drivers in the company to be recognised for their daily efforts to improve road safety, service and efficiency," said Mr Pullin. "I’m looking forward to using the vouchers for a well-earned break before getting back behind the wheel."
"This annual award gives us the opportunity to celebrate excellence across a huge transport network," said Graham Bellman, director of fleet service.
"This has been a great way of encouraging engagement and recognition of the difficult job our drivers do. These are the team members that often have the most contact with customers and commonly work alone – as the public face of each business, it is incredibly important that we applaud colleagues, such as Adrian, who continue to make a massive contribution to our success."
The Driver of the Year competition was open to all Group brands including Keyline, CPS, CCF, PTS, BSS, Wickes, Benchmarx and F&P Wholesale.
