Architects, specifiers and members of the trade heard about the environmental benefits of using timber in construction at a seminar organised by the East Anglian Timber Trade Association (EATTA).
More than 60 people attended “Specifying Wood for the Environment” held in Cambridge on October 20.
Presentations included a look at CE marking in construction by Alastair Kerr, director-general of the Wood Panel Industries Federation; responsible timber purchasing by Timber Trade Federation product manager Nick Boulton; and timber products in construction by Andrew Abbott, TRADA chief executive.
The event was supported by 16 stands demonstrating products and services available from EATTA’s members.
