An innovative project on the Isle of Wight which is being put forward for a series of self-build design awards in 2006 features decorative MDF panels from Egger.
The company’s light grey and black Eurodekor MDF has been supplied direct to the house which is being built beside a lake in the grounds of a Victorian estate which is being restored.
The grey MDF provides wall-to-wall, floor-to-ceiling wardrobe doors in the 36ft-long bedroom – the only one in the house. It has also been used to create a built-in alcove for the double bed, while black MDF has been used to make lids for the window seats.
Egger also supplied butcher-block beech postformed worktops for a series of tables in the visitors’ studio and workshop area.
