The successful launch of new timber engineering software from Gang-Nail Systems helped parent company Eleco plc to a 176% increase in pre-tax profits for the year ending June 30.
Gang-Nail recorded its best performance in five years thanks to its updated roof and truss software, a new Ecojoist software program, favourable raw material prices and a significant increase in machinery sales.
Eleco, a building systems and software group, achieved pre-tax profits of £1.74m from a turnover of £32.9m.
