The Fédération Nationale du Bois and the European Organisation of the Sawmill Industry have joined forces to stage the first European Hardwood Conference on November 3-4 in Versailles near Paris.
The organisers say that representatives from the European hardwood sawmilling industries and the user industries – including parquet, furniture, joinery and the hardwood trade – will have an opportunity to discuss market issues, wood promotion, new products and applications.
The event starts off with a gala dinner at the Trianon Palace Hotel on November 3 and will be followed the following day by a full programme of presentations by speakers from around the world.
