Wiltshire-based Fairoak Timber is to invest £500,000 in a Weinig Conturex CNC machining centre as part of a three-year growth plan.
The window and door manufacturer said the investment would allow it to satisfy its long-term projections for sales and capacity, as well as ensure quality.
“The investment is made with the view to doubling Fairoak’s business in the next three years, with the Conturex being a key component to provide flexibility, high quality products and more capacity to meet the company’s projection,” said managing director Bill Sebborn.
Weinig is to demonstrate a Conturex CNC machining centre at W8 in Birmingham during October.
