Christmas trees from Forestry Commission Scotland‘s Blairadam forest near Kelty have proved a hit with the big cats and other animals at Edinburgh Zoo.
The trees were due to be recycled but a zoo keeper spotted them and asked if she could have them for the animals.
Around 60 trees were donated and Donald Balfour of Forestry Commission Scotland said: “You could say they are going right back to nature.”
