Bonnie Maggio is the new Forest Education Initiative co-ordinator for Scotland.
Previously a national adviser in environmental education with Scottish Natural Heritage, Ms Maggio will be based in Forestry Commission Scotland’s national office in Edinburgh and also work out of the office in Tay Forest District.??
“Having spent my career as an environmental education professional I strongly believe in the role that trees and woodland have to play in encouraging an affinity for nature in young people and adults alike,” she said. “The opportunities are boundless and I am extremely enthusiastic about my new role and what FEI can achieve.”??
